The Rev. Clyde Vaughn, former executive director of the Scotts Valley Chamber of Commerce, has been appointed minister at Boulder Creek United Methodist Church.

He has served churches in Santa Cruz, Fresno, Tracy and San Rafael and is a retired administrator of retirement communities.

He will preach and serve communion the first Sunday of each month. Cathy Warner will continue her lay ministry, as she has for three years.
