I must respond to Kimberly Wilson’s comment in her letter (“No, I don’t speak Spanish,” Your Voice, Page 11, Feb. 7).
I feel appalled that by now English is not spoken by all. As a taxpayer, I would like to know: What has happened to the money paid out for free English as a Second Language programs?
I can only say one other thing about this: When in Rome, do as the Romans do. No excuses. Learn the language, period.
