Each member of Congress can pick a grand prizewinner from his or her district. Grand prize winners’ art entries will be displayed for one year in the U.S. Capitol complex in Washington, D.C.
The winning artist and one guest will also be invited to a Capitol Hill awards ceremony this summer to honor young artists from around the nation and officially unveil their artwork in the Capitol.
Entries must be submitted by 5 p.m. (Pacific Standard Time) April 4 to Denham’s Modesto office, 4701 Sisk Road, Suite 202, Modesto, CA, 95356. A complete list of requirements can be found at www.house.gov/content/educate/art_competition/
