DETAILS: Serenity in the Palms AFG is a new Al-Anon fellowship that begins April 3 and will meet weekly on Wednesdays. Al-Anon family groups allow relatives and friends of alcoholics to share their experiences. The organization is not allied with any sect, denomination, political entity, organization or institution.

Kids invited to plant flowers
WHEN:

WHERE: Center Building on Plaza Circle
DETAILS: The city of Patterson Beautification Committee welcomes local youths to join a group planting flowers around the Center Building, which houses the Patterson Museum. Local Boy Scout and Girl Scout troops, American Heritage Girls and Patterson High School students have already signed up.

Art and Wine Gala on tap

WHERE: Hammon Senior Center, 1033 W. Las Palmas Ave.
DETAILS: Local residents are invited to an evening of art, wine, food and live music during Patterson Repertory Theatre’s ninth annual Art and Wine Gala. The celebration of arts on the West Side highlights local artists and raises money for artistic programming and community outreach by Patterson Rep.
COST: $25 per person, $45 per couple in advance; $30 per person at the door

Music students dish up tri-tip
WHEN:
5 to 7 p.m.
WHERE: Creekside Middle School, 535 Peregrine Drive
DETAILS: The Creekside music department is selling tickets for a tri-tip dinner to raise money to participate in the Music in the Parks Festival at Great America this spring. Meals, which include tri-tip, salad, rolls and dessert, can be picked up at the curb on the American Eagle Drive side of the school.
COST: $10 per person, $35 for a family meal for four

Pancakes served by 4-H’ers
WHEN:
7:30 to 11 a.m.
WHERE: Masonic Hall, 600 N. Sixth St.
DETAILS: Patterson 4-H Club members are serving up scrambled eggs, pancakes, sausage, juice and coffee for their annual pancake breakfast. Tickets can be purchased from any 4-H Club member or at the door.
COST: $7 per person age 5 and older, free for younger children
