April programs announced at library

Local library programs during the month of April include something for all ages.

Families are invited to stop by the Patterson Library, 46 N. Salado Ave., and participate in the free activities.

•Wednesday, April 3: Children can make pop-up cards at 3:30 p.m. Materials are provided

•April 17: Teen game night begins at 4 p.m., featuring a button maker craft. Materials are provided

•April 20: Day of the Child, Day of the Book celebrates a multicultural community with bilingual story time at noon and performances by Polynesian dancers at 12:45 p.m., folkloric dancers at 1:30 p.m., the Creekside Middle School Band at 2:15 p.m., hip-hop dancers at 3 p.m. and a ukulele band at 3:20 p.m. Crafts, games, snacks and prizes are also planned.

•April 27: The animated film “Wreck It Ralph” will be shown at 2 p.m. for family movie day.
