Junior Sal Becerra hit an infield RBI single to complete a seventh-inning rally and lift Patterson to the Thursday come-from-behind victory.
Senior left-hander Joey Lopes tossed a complete-game four-hitter that included nine strikeouts to lead Patterson (4-15 overall, 2-6 Western Athletic Conference) to its second league win.
Los Banos (13-8-1, 2-6) led 4-2 going into the seventh inning, but a one-out walk from senior Jonathan Rodriguez and a single from junior Andrew Basaldua set the table.
Lopes, who went 2-for-3, plated Rodriguez with a base hit to right field to cut the deficit to 4-3, and junior Jake Thompson walked to load the bases.
Basaldua scored the tying run on a wild pitch that also advanced Lopes and Thompson into scoring position.
Facing a 2-2 count, Becerra hit a screaming grounder to third base. The third baseman knocked it down but failed to throw Becerra out at first, allowing Lopes to score for the eventual winning run.
Lopes returned to the mound in the bottom half of the inning to retire the final three Los Banos batters in order, striking out two.
Thompson also pounded a two-run double in the top of the third inning for Patterson.
Patterson continues league play on the road at 4 p.m. Thursday, May 2, against Pacheco High of Los Banos (11-13, 3-7).
