Spring Extravaganza of student talent

The Patterson Joint Unified School District will showcase the talents of local students at its annual Student Art and Music Extravaganza from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. May 14.

Local residents are invited to join PJUSD artists and musicians and their families at Walnut Grove School, 775 Hartley St.

The event showcases the best of this year’s visual and performing arts accomplishments district-wide. Students of all ages are represented during an evening that includes a prize drawing for participating artists, actors and musicians.

Scheduled performances are:

n 4:30 p.m.: Walnut Grove recorders, band and strings

n 4:40 p.m.: Grayson Charter recorders, band, and strings

n 4:50 p.m: Las Palmas recorders, band, and strings

n 5 p.m.: Northmead recorders, band, and strings

n 5:10 p.m.: Apricot Valley recorders, band and strings

n 5:20 p.m.: Creekside Middle School, band and orchestra

n 5:30 p.m.: Welcome prize drawing for artists and musicians (must be present to win)

n 6 p.m.: Patterson High School performances
