Patterson Recognizing Individuals to Excel has much to be proud of after raising $61,350 worth of scholarships and awards to graduating high school seniors on May 13. That doesn't include $4,700 in annuities awarded to eighth- through 11th-grade honor scholars.

It’s amazing what this group has been able to carry out in 11 years, awarding more than $576,900 in scholarships to 460 students from Patterson public schools.

As in past years, this year’s PRIDE awards ceremony beautifully honored the legacy of past residents, many of whom had scholarships distributed in their honor, while providing support for future generations, so they can carry out their own legacy.

Both PRIDE and the scholarship event truly encapsulate everything that’s good about Patterson. It will be exciting to see what this organization will accomplish in the years ahead, particularly with the advent of a bike ride fundraiser tournament later this fall. PRIDE does amazing work, and it deserves the community’s full support.
