Recipients of the Academic Excellence Award for the Creekside Middle School Class of 2013 look on as recipient Harmeet Kaur adresses fellow classmates and a packed crowd at Patterson Community Stadium. About 500 eighth graders at Patterson's two middle schools celebrated their promotion to high school the evening of Wednesday, May 29. More than 400 middle school children were promoted from Creekside Middle School, including nine with perfect grades, while Walnut Grove School promoted 66 including four with perfect grades.
