A funeral prayer service will be conducted on Saturday, June 8 for Walter Norman Quave, Jr., of Patterson, who died on Monday, May 27 at the Alexander Cohen Hospice House in Hughson.

Mr. Quave, 81, was born in Biloxi, Miss.and was a resident of Patterson for 23 years. He was a plastic fabricator for 50 years. Mr. Quave served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He enjoyed fly-fishing, hunting and archery.

Mr. Quave is survived by his wife, Mary S. Quave of Patterson; sons, Walter N. Quave, III of Modesto and Patrick D. Quave of Patterson; daughters, Cynthia Rishebarger of Patterson, Lynda Simoni of Jackson, Mary Ann Anderson of Reno, Nev. and Annette Quave of Patterson; brother, Bryant Quave of Biloxi, Miss.; sister, Johan Gill of Biloxi, Miss.; 18 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. .

A visitation will be observed at 12 Noon on Saturday, June 8 followed by a funeral prayer service at 1 p.m. at Hillview Funeral Chapel, 450 W. Las Palmas Ave., in Patterson. Burial will be private.
