“Activate Your Mind — READ!” is the theme of the Stanislaus County Library’s Summer Reading program for children, teens and adults, in progress from now until Aug. 3.

Children up to age 8 can pick up a reading log at any of the 13 Stanislaus County Library branches, including the Patterson Branch Library at 46 N. Salado Ave. Children up to age 8 can read or be read to at least 20 minutes a day for seven days to earn a prize. Children ages 9 through 12 can pick up a game card at any library branch and select from a variety of activities to win prizes.

Youth ages 13 through 18 can track their reading on a bingo card and earn various prizes. They are also eligible to enter the county grand prize drawing for a Barnes and Noble Nook.

Adults can participate by submitting a short review form, which can be downloaded or picked up at any county library branch. The two grand prizes for adults are a $100 gift certificate from Amazon and a reading tablet.

For information: Patterson Branch Library, 892-6473.
