Lee Lundrigan, Stanislaus County Registrar of Voters and Clerk-Recorder, has announced that Sample Ballot booklets will begin to be mailed to voters this week for the Consolidated District Election on Tuesday, Nov. 5.

It is anticipated both permanent vote by mail and all-mail precinct ballots will begin to be mailed to voters on Thursday, Oct 10.

United States citizens may continue to register to vote until 15-days before the election. Voter registrations will be accepted through Oct 21.

Stanislaus County has 208,121 registered voters of which 125,384 are permanent vote by mail and 2,251 are all-mail precinct voters that will be voting in this Consolidated District Election.

As an added bonus, every voter can now receive a sample ballot pamphlet online to reduce waste, while offering convenience and saving tax dollars.

Election Day ballot counts will be posted on the website at www.stanvote.com following the close of the polls at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5.
