Chircop and Jergenson marry

Julie Chircop and Eric Jergenson, both of Turlock, were united in marriage on Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013, at a private residence in Denair. The wedding was officiated by Rev. Joe Major of First United Methodist Church of Turlock.

Julie is the daughter of Richard and Tina Chircop of Patterson. She graduated from Turlock Christian High School and California State University, Fresno. Julie is employed at Modesto and Turlock Door & Window and is also co-director at Deborah Morgan Dance Studio.

Eric is the son of John and Sharon Jaureguy of Turlock. He graduated from Turlock High School and the University of California, Santa Cruz. Eric is a co-owner at Jaureguy’s Design & Construction.

The maid of honor was Kristen Gomes. Julie’s bridesmaids were Brittony Jergenson, Ashley Weaver, Antonia Toomey and Melissa Yagi.

Jonny Jergenson was the best man. Christopher Jergenson, Michael Weaver, Ramsey Cox and Michael Toomey were the groomsmen.

More than 300 guests attended the wedding and the special guests were grandmother of the groom, Eleanor Johnson, and grandmother of the bride, Mary Lou Terras, and great-aunt of the bride, Mary Azzopardi.

The day after the wedding, the newlyweds traveled to South Africa and spent the next two weeks in Cape Town, surfing, sightseeing, and getting up close and personal with the wildlife while on safaris.

The newlyweds have since moved to Turlock.
