With the Patterson High football team's latest test coming Friday, Nov. 8 at David Patton Field, where the undefeated Tigers (9-0 overall, 5-0 Western Athletic Conference) will battle rival Central Catholic High of Modesto (8-1, 5-0) for league supremacy, it's difficult not to notice the appropriate hype the game is generating.

The two programs are positioned at the top of the WAC standings this year, but only one can be champion. Friday night's contest will decide as much.

As a symbol of solidarity, the Patterson High School Associated Student Body (ASB) is asking fans to support the Tigers by dressing in all black, creating a "Blackout" at David Patton Field in Modesto.

Kick-off is 7 p.m.
