7: 29 p.m.: An armed robbery took place off west Las Palmas and Ward avenues when a suspect pointed a handgun at a victim, demanding him to give up his money and cell phone.

Dec. 17

8:20 a.m.: An attempted residential burglary was reported on the 1300 block of Snake Creek Drive. The unknown suspect(s) attempted to kick in a garage door for entry. No entry was made.

Dec. 18

5:02 p.m.: A hit and run was reported off Highway 33 and E Street involving a pedestrian. The victim was crossing in a cross walk on E Street when a small, possibly green pick-up hit him, knocking him to the ground. The suspect responsible fled the scene.

Dec. 19

3:01 p.m.: An attempted residential burglary was reported on the 100 block of Dowitcher Drive. The victim found the screen door to the backyard’s sliding door broken when the suspect(s) attempted to gain entry into the home. No entry was made.

Dec. 20

8:15 a.m.: A white 1995 Chevy S10 was reported stolen from a parking lot on the 1000 block of Sperry Avenue.

Dec. 21

10:36 a.m.: A report of a hit and run with property damage was reported on the 00 block of Jersey Lane. The victim went out to their vehicle and discovered that someone had backed into the front end, causing damage.

Dec. 22

9:10 a.m.: David Partida, 33, of Merced was picked up on the 2200 block of Shadow Brook Way in Modesto on a bench warrant for failure to appear out of Patterson for driving under the influence of alcohol, delaying/obstructing officers in performing their duties, a bench warrant for failure to appear for driving with a suspended or revoked license and refusing to take a chemical test.

10:10 a.m.: Jesus Acosta, 56, of Modesto was arrested off the 1300 block of Nadine Avenue in Modesto on a bench warrant for failure to appear out of Patterson for driving under the influence of alcohol.
