Can anyone imagine how Third Street would appear without those beautiful trees?
We would be missing the lovely coolness and shade they provide every summer — not to mention the beautiful green leaves and birds nesting in the branches.
It is certain that the majority of trees lose leaves during the winter months, but they burst forth again in the spring.
This is a city of trees and I love, admire and appreciate every one. I overlook any negative aspects of their growth. I would happily bring my broom to town to sweep up all the pollen.
