Patterson resident and bass player for Mother Teresa & The Sinners Aaron Camp will be competing with band members Teresa Beaton (vocals), Logan Ash (guitar), Bruce Rodd (keyboards) and Eric Carey (drums) to win the contest.
In order for a chance to win the 20 minute session, an entry must attain the highest number of votes by Friday, Jan. 31 on the Modesto Bee’s voting page at http://bit.ly/Ktl3Yl.
The results of the vote will be sent to B.B. King’s management for the final selection.
Apart from playing at the Apricot Fiesta, Mother Teresa & The Sinners are acclaimed winners of the 2013 Modesto Area Music Association Award for “Best Jazz & Blues”.
They have made a name for themselves with a trademark throwback swagger that has garnered festival appearances and the opportunity to headline Modesto’s famed Fat Cat Music House & Lounge. The band is currently writing their forthcoming EP, with an expected release date sometime in December 2014.
