As many may have noticed, the Patterson Irrigator website experienced sporadic technical issues Monday, Feb. 10 to Thursday, Feb. 13. The website became inaccessible to residents and administrators alike for hours at a time, often relaying them to another site altogether. When the website was accessible, Patterson Irrigator’s administrators were unable to log in, post new content or control what was being displayed on the homepage. As a result, many queer spelling errors occurred but could not be rectified.
The Patterson Irrigator posted a response to their Facebook page relaying this information to the consumers. Concerning emails also flooded in, which were answered by the various staff members attributed to them throughout the week. Administrators were allowed back on the site Wednesday evening, while consumers were to wait until Thursday morning. Updated information was relayed to the public via Facebook again Wednesday evening.
