March Against Hunger set this weekend

Community members are invited to lace up their walking shoes and join in the St. Vincent de Paul annual March Against Hunger 4-mile walk-a-thon Saturday, March 29.

Local walkers from all area churches are invited to participate. The walk-a-thon registration starting point will be at Bonaventure Hall, 505 M Street from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. The walk begins at 8:30 a.m. sharp and will take place rain or shine.

Money raised will benefit those in need in the Patterson, Westley, Grayson and Crows Landing communities.

Each person who participates in the event is asked to donate a minimum of $5. Anyone who collects $25 or more in donations can earn a free T-shirt for each $25 donated.
