Center for Human Services receives coveted award

Center for Human Services, a local non profit in Stanislaus County, received a Psychologically Healthy Workplace Award on Friday from the California Psychological Association at the opening plenary session of their Annual Convention on April 11 in Monterey. Center for Human Services is being recognized for a Best Practice Honors for Employee Involvement.

The Psychologically Healthy Workplace Award was created to recognize organizations that understand the link between employee health and well-being and organizational performance and have implemented a variety of workplace practices in an active effort to create a positive work environment.

Applicants are judged on criteria including: employee involvement, health and safety, employee growth and development, work-life balance and employee recognition.
