Assemblyman Adam Gray hosted a public coffee meeting and met with about a dozen constituents Friday morning, April 4. Gray, will be running unopposed in his first term in office in the June and November elections this year. Gray talked with folks from Patterson at Mil’s Bar and Grill starting around 9 a.m. and stayed for an hour before departing for Newman.

He also hosted public coffee meetings with 21st Assembly District constituents in Newman from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at The Grille and in Gustine from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at The Pizza Factory. The hot topic of the day seemed to be water as Gray was seen speaking for some time to Patterson Irrigation District G.M. Peter Reitkirk about the state of the watershed and a bond Gray is Sponsoring in the Assembly, A.B. 2636, which calls for billions in bond funding to update and build water storage facilities. The bond also calls for money to help some areas of the Central Valley clean up their drinking water.
