April 29

7:59 a.m.: Raul Canales, 28, was arrested on the 200 block of North Second Street on felony and misdemeanor charges including felony receiving stolen property, felony concealing a dirk or dagger, felony rearrest/revoke probation and misdemeanor trespassing.

8:03 a.m.: An attempted burglary occurred on the 1000 block of West Las Palmas Avenue when unknown subjects forced entry into a business. No items were reported stolen at this time.

11:56 a.m.: A male juvenile was arrested off the 40 block of Bella Flora Lane for felony residential burglary. He was seen leaving a residence with stolen property.

9:53 p.m.: Francisco Gonzalez, 19, was cited off West Las Palmas Avenue and South Ninth Street for misdemeanor charges as well as an infraction when a traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle he was driving. Gonzalez was cited for misdemeanor driving on a suspended license for DUI and an infraction for littering on the highway. He also has a misdemeanor warrant out of Newman for driving under the influence.

April 30

9:15 a.m.: Grand theft occurred on the 100 block of North First Street when unknown subjects forced entry onto the property and took items from the exterior of the business.

May 1

7:36 a.m.: A residential burglary occurred on the 300 block of Washburn Street when unknown subjects entered a home and took items.

10:47 p.m.: Malicious mischief occurred on the 1000 block of West Las Palmas Avenue when an unknown subject threw a beer bottle at a passing car causing damage to the vehicle.

May 2

5:42 a.m.: A stolen vehicle report was made on the 100 block of Barros Street when unknown subjects took a 1988 Honda from the front of a residence.

1:16 p.m.: Grand theft occurred on the 500 block of Osprey Drive when items were taken from several residences.

10:16 p.m.: Spousal abuse was reported on the 300 block of South Third Street when a male subject caused injury to his girlfriend.

May 3

8:58 a.m.: Alberto Gallardo, 20, was arrested on the 400 block of Darpino Court for felony first degree burglary.

11:37 a.m.: A property owner off the 100 block of Portrait Lane reported that unknown suspects forced entry through two rear windows of a vacant home.

12:49 p.m.: A residential burglary was reported off the 300 block of D Street when two subjects were interrupted during their raid. The subjects fled the scene immediately.

6:08 p.m.: An assault with a deadly weapon was reported on the 800 block of Mackilhaffy Drive when unknown subjects fired two shots in the direction of a home owner and the residence.

May 4

4:02 p.m.: Criminal threats occurred on the 1000 block of West Las Palmas Avenue. The victim reported that the suspect was threatening to have his friends come kill him.

May 5

10:08 a.m.: A residential burglary was reported off the 500 block of H Street when unknown subjects forced entry into a home and ransacked various items.

11:36 a.m.: A male juvenile was arrested on the 200 block of North Seventh Street for multiple felonies, including the possession of a high capacity magazine and gun on school grounds.
