Your dogs are barking

Editor,

I’m new to Patterson and loving the quiet. There is not the constant drone of traffic or sirens every other minute. Sleeping with the windows open is such a treat.

The only exceptions are the barking dogs that pop off most of the night. I know when our dog barks, we get up to find out why.

You would think hearing your animals barking incessantly would drive one to find out the reason, or at least be considerate of your neighbors.

Apparently not.

Bad manners seem to be the norm and not the exception. This is a sad story, but true. Hopefully this will shake some folks into renewed consideration for their neighbors.

Most sincerely,

Monica Wallace,

Patterson resident
