Fiesta arts and crafts show open to all

The Apricot Fiesta Arts and Crafts Show coordinators will be accepting artwork from 5 to 8 p.m. on both Tuesday, May 27 and Wednesday, May 28 at Patterson City Hall, 1 Plaza.

The competition is structured by age groups including preschool and kindergarten; first and second grades; third and fourth grades; fifth and sixth grades; seventh and eighth grades; ninth and 10th grades; and 11th and 12th grades. The adult competition is open to all over age 18.

The categories are Drawing, 3-D Crafts, Mixed Media, Painting and Photography.

The judging of the art pieces will be on Friday, May 30 in a closed session. Ribbons will be awarded.

All the art will be on display for viewing at city hall from 12 noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 31 and from 12 noon to 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 1.

A $2 entry fee for each piece of art entered is required; there’s no limit on how many pieces can be entered.
