Do you believe in magic? Families and friends gathered at the Patterson Library to take part in a special science and magic program as part of the summer reading activity’s “Fizz! Boom! Read!” initiative on Thursday afternoon, June 5. The program is designed to be “two parts science, one part magic, and a large dose of fun.” Audience participation was encouraged during this fast-moving, interactive performance in an effort to help kids become entranced with science. Don O’Brien played the scientist during the afternoon’s proceedings.
