Newman and Patterson Family Resource Centers recently received a $10,000 donation from the Lake Forest, Ill-based Grainger Foundation. The money will help to support the programs and services offered through Center for Human Services Family Resource Centers that help meet community needs through food provision. The center will continue to help families in Patterson and Newman to offer meals such as a Thanksgiving dinner.

Center for Human Services is a local non-profit providing service to youth and families throughout Stanislaus County. On the West Side of the county, CHS operates the Patterson and Newman Family Resource Centers, one-stop shops for families in need.

INFO: 892-6688 (Patterson), 862-0295 (Newman), or www.centerforhumanservices.org.
