Joel James Ramirez, 53 of Patterson passed away Thursday, June 19 at UCSF Medical Center in San Francisco.

Mr. Ramirez was born in Laredo, Texas and was a life long resident of Patterson. He was an owner of a Telecommunications Business and a United States Army veteran. He was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Patterson and a Patterson High School graduate Class of 1979. He enjoyed fishing, playing his musical instruments, riding his Harley Motorcycle and working on his antique car.

Mr. Ramirez is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, Wendi Ramirez; son, Andrew Ramirez; daughter, Jessica Ramirez; mother, Maria Elena Ramirez all of Patterson; brothers, Jamie Ramirez of Crows Landing, Ruben Ramirez and Larry Ramirez both of Patterson; sisters, Elizabeth Truett and Cynthia Bizzanelli both of Patterson and five nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Jamie Ramirez.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 27 at the Patterson District Cemetery in Patterson.

Donations may be made in Mr. Ramirez’s name to PRIDE Scholarship, P.O. Box 1543, Patterson, CA 95363.
