Allen Paul Sanguinetti, Jr.

January 12, 1939 – July 7, 2014

Allen Paul Sanguinetti, Jr., 75 of Crows Landing passed away Monday, July 7 at Valley Comfort in Modesto.Mr. Sanguinetti was born in Lodi and was a resident of the West Side for 45 years. He graduated from Lodi High School in 1956 and Sacramento City College in 1959. He was a Pest Control Advisor (PCA) for over 45 years and was well respected for his work ethic. In 1993 he was presented the Outstanding PCA Award by the California Productions Consultants Association. He was a member of the West Stanislaus Fire Protection District (Patterson Fire Dept. and Crows Landing Fire Dept. (Asst. Chief) for 33 years, Crows Landing Lions Club, Crows Landing Community Services District-President-Board Member and Stanislaus Fly Fishers. He was an avid Fly Fisher man, hunter and photographer. He traveled 3 times to New Zealand to fly fish and with UC Davis Ag Extension to Australia, Chile and Argentina to view crop production and techniques.Mr. Sanguinetti is survived by his wife, Coleen Sanguinettiof Crows Landing; son, Allen (Sandy) Sanguinetti,III of Turlock; daughters, Kim Vandenakker of Ripon and Catherine Sanguinetti of Modesto; brothers, Patrick Sanguinetti of Citrus Heights and Stephan Sanguinetti of Lodi; 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Allen and Hazel Sanguinetti.

A Visitation will be observed from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday,July 13 at Hillview Funeral Chapel in Patterson. Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 14 at Hillview Funeral Chapel in Patterson. Interment to follow at Hills Ferry Cemetery in Newman.
