Solar power is now available to residents on the West Side. Any customers of TID or MID can switch to solar for free if they qualify.

The only requirements to enter the program are that you own a home and have a healthy credit rating. There is also a roof inspection that must be done in order to assess if the site meets the specifications needed to have solar power.

After qualifying, there is no cost for installation, equipment, warranty, monitoring or maintenance. Upon switching, users will just pay for the services provided and solar power produced, leading to savings over their current utility bill.

There is no investment necessary, and customers will be billed monthly, just as they would with a normal utility bill.

Anybody interested in making the switch to solar should call Terri Loftus at 209-662-8237 for further information or to make an appointment.
