June 19, 1953 — June 28, 2014

Jose Luis Garza, Sr., 61 of Patterson passed away Saturday, June 28 at his residence.

Mr. Garza was born in Tamaulipas, Mexico, and was a resident of Patterson for 12 years. He was a carpenter for 43 years, a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in

Patterson and loved carpentry.

Mr. Garza is survived by his wife, Elvira Garza; sons, Jose Luis Garza, Jr, and Francisco Garza; daughter, Marisela Garza all of Patterson; brothers, Jose Jaime Garza of

Fresno, Jesus R. Garza of Hanford, Juan Manuel Garza and Francisco Javier Garza; sisters, Margarita C. Flores, Marivel Jacinto all of Patterson and Juanita Garza-Castro

of Union City and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ramiro and Concepcion Garza, brother, Ramiro Garza and sister, Bertha Alicia Garza.

A rosary was recited Wednesday, July 2 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Patterson. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 3 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Patterson. Interment will be private.
