Support group meets Tuesday

The Developmentally Disabled Parents and Caretakers Support Group will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15, at New Hope Church of the Nazarene, 1720 E. Las Palmas Ave.

Gardeners meet Sept. 24

The Patterson Garden Club’s first meeting of the new garden club season will be at 9 a.m. Sept. 24, at the Palmas Mobile Estates Club House, 250 E. Las Palmas Ave.

Anne Schellman from the University of California Cooperative Extension Office will be the guest speaker. Her topic will be school and community garden projects.

Refreshments will be served, and guests are always welcome.

Dues for the Patterson Garden Club are $10 per person and can be paid at this meeting. The Patterson Garden Club Cookbook will also available for purchase for $10 per copy.
