We have all read books, seen movies or even read the Bible’s description of Jesus. The description of him is almost a novel — some might even conclude that the story of the super-human is a façade. He is described as having super powers, can heal the sick, can do miracles and actually ascends and goes up to Heaven without a hot-air balloon. Yes, many may say that the stories about him are “a bunch of hot air.”

You see, my friend, we can only describe Jesus through our own thinking process, ability or even character. Beyond this, our descriptions of him, many times, are just more words. I know he died for me, but yet I was not there.

Would I really be able to express the pain and suffering that he went through for us on the cross? I think not, but there is a way: by getting to know him by having his spirit inside of you.

The Bible says, “If any man hath not the spirit of Christ, he is none of his” (Romans 8:9). Through Jesus, I can express the real king. We are representatives — we are to mirror his love to the rest of the world.

Oh, how I want to know him in the power of his might. Will the real Jesus come forward?

God bless.
