The Patterson High senior took sixth place by herself at the March 20 team event, competing against more than 1,500 athletes from some of the top programs in the region.
Bond earned first place in the girls pole vault, clearing the bar at the 9-foot mark. She also finished in second place in both the girls 100- and 200-meter dashes and fourth in the girls long jump.
Bond recorded 30½ points at the event, enough to earn her a top-10 spot in the large-school competition, as well as Female Athlete of the Meet honors.
